Surprise, surprise! We are not in Kings Canyon which was the original plan. Shortly after we left Uluru this morning we ran into rain and by the time we arrived at the Kings Canyon turnoff the rain was steady and the sky to the North was black. There seemed to be a good chance that we would run into serious rain after driving all that way and in the end we decided to go to Alice Springs instead. We are staying at the Big 4 caravan park which is absolutely fantastic. Not sure how long we'll stay here but at this stage it looks like 3 or 4 days. Watch this space for updates and photos.
