It is time for our next holiday and this year we are staying in Australia. Our plan is to take our caravan through Central Australia to visit many of the iconic places such as Coober Pedy, Alice Springs, Ayers Rock (Uluru) and Kings Canyon and then to cross into Queensland through Mt Isa and Longreach. Our return trip down the coast will take in our usual favourites such as the Sunshine Coast and the Gold coast as well as a family visit in Gympie. The trip is around 8,000 km. We are departing in a couple of days and it looks like we'll be leaving during a wet and cold period in this part of the world, but that should change quickly as we head north. The packing is nearly complete, the Pajero and the Jayco have both been serviced and we're both ready for a relaxing break. Not sure what's available in terms of internet access along this route but wherever possible I will update with our comments and photos.
