After another cold night, we woke this morning to a crisp fine day. As we've decided to stay 2 nights here in Hahndorf we had time to go into town for a look around knowing that one of the many excellent cafes would tempt us inside. Sure enough it wasn't long before we found a Dutch pancake cafe which looked warm and inviting. The mixed berry pancakes were superb and the coffees were great too. We've been coming to Hahndorf on a fairly regular basis now for quite a few years but the town seems to be going through a bit of a boom at the moment. Lots of new businesses and additional accommodation offerings everywhere. Even today in the middle of winter there were plenty of visitors shopping and dining. Even with all the bare trees Hahndorf looks terrific and with the huge improvement in the caravan park we'll be back again soon.
After lunch we returned to the warm comfort of our caravan for a relaxing afternoon before continuing our trip tomorrow.
