24 October 2017 - Geelong

After a very peaceful night in Horsham we woke to another pleasant day for the next leg of our trip. As the caravan was still hooked up we only had to disconnect the power and the water and we were on the road by 9:15. We enjoyed a nice easy run down the Western Highway and by 1:30 pm we were checking into our caravan park on the Barwon River in Geelong. The weather forecast for the next three days looks a bit miserable but we are hoping to take a drive down to Torquay. In the afternoon we will be catching up with Cecilia and Rob and then on Thursday we meet with Jim and Irene and Don and Annette for lunch at the Houstons in Lara. Then on Friday it's the last day of our holiday and we should be home by mid afternoon.
