Once again we awoke this morning to find ourselves in a different port. We are now in Cherbourg which is in the region of Normandy, France. For a lot of people the attraction was to join an organised tour to the Normandy beaches where the famous Allied invasion of World War II took place.
We just walked into town to have a look around. Unfortunately in France, all museums and public buildings are closed on Mondays, and also on Mondays the shops close at noon for a couple of hours. After the stretching the legs for a couple of hours we headed back to the Constellation for a day of relaxation. Tomorrow is a sea day before our next port of call in Spain.
